The Quebec-Florida Chamber of Commerce logged its rst trade mission to Central Florida in January, visiting Daytona Beach, Orlando and Lakeland. "This visit was designed to facilitate relationship building with companies and organizations that may ultimately facilitate international investment in Volusia County," per Chris Wimsatt, TVEDC Vice President/Business Development. Targeted industries included technology, aerospace, life science and manufacturing. The event included networking as well as private business appointments. It was built around the Rolex 24 Race at Daytona International Speedway
