TVEDC's Annual Meeting was held as an evening event rather than a morning event. "The idea of meeting after hours was well-received," said TVEDC President and CEO Keith Norden. "In fact, more than 275 people attended the sold-out event, a signicant increase over the organization's annual meeting held in its rst ve years."
The evening featured lively networking, followed by dinner and a business meeting agenda. In addition to recognizing outgoing officers, welcoming incoming officers and reviewing the incredible year that was 2016, highlights of TVEDC's Strategy for Success were presented by Del Boyette and Tracy Sharp of Boyette Strategic Advisors. The comprehensive Strategy for Success was presented and adopted at a subsequent meeting of the TVEDC Board of Directors, and a three-year implementation plan has been developed to ensure proper sequencing of the plan, thus maximizing its impact in building a highly competitive economic development program.
The evening event was sponsored by fourteen investors including Platinum Sponsors: Florida Hospital, VyStar Credit Union and International Speedway Corporation / NASCAR. The venue was sponsored by Daytona State College and held on their campus in the stunning Mori Hosseini Center.
