Volusia County is located at what is commonly referred to as the crossroads of Central Florida, Interstate 4 at Interstate 95. This provides easy access to the entire I-4 High Tech Corridor as well as coastal Florida and the entire eastern seaboard.  Air cargo service is available on scheduled airlines serving Daytona Beach International Airport and freight carriers serving other nearby international airlines. Port Canaveral and JaxPort in Jacksonville also serve the region, as do CSX, Norfolk Southern and Florida East Coast Railway.

These resources, along with the availability of land located in close proximity to major thoroughfares, makes Volusia County well-suited for distribution centers and logistics companies.
