The City of DeLand and DeLand Municipal Airport hosted the rst annual DeLand Light Sport Aviation and Village Showcase on November 3-5, 2016. The DeLand Municipal Airport has designated property for the construction of hangars and other aviation facilities to take advantage of the underserved light sport aviation industry. Team Volusia was pleased to be the featured sponsor of the Friday night networking event, allowing all exhibitors to enjoy dinner, while networking with companies engaged in the light sport aviation and aerospace industry. Team Volusia was also an exhibitor during the event and utilized the time to meet with several companies of various size, who expressed interest in DeLand Municipal Airport and the Light Sport Aviation Village.
