New Heights: A Look Ahead at Daytona Beach International Airport’s Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

It has been an exciting year so far for the Daytona Beach International Airport—with Silver Airways already getting passengers to and from Fort Lauderdale, Sunwing servicing Toronto trips, and American Airlines taking flight to New York this May.

Now, the Volusia County Council has approved another big change for the airport, a multi-million dollar renovation project by A.M. Weigel Construction, Inc.

Airport traffic reaches new heights

A go-ahead on airport refurbishments is not the only exciting news to come out the Daytona Beach International Airport this month—the airport announced that it saw a 3.2 percent increase in traffic from March 2018 to March 2019.
